  • Fundraising - Suzanne Cole reported that she is ready to go to print on the un-printed banners, and that the prices have gone up this year.  She also asked for a volunteer to cold-call some of the companies that we have banners for, but no agreement this year.  Leslie Pessetto graciiously volunteered.  Stephanie Engle outlined the senior night raffle

·         Old Business

o        John Lorec noted that the Krispy Kreme fundraiser was a success and fairly low work for the money raised.  We sold 350 dozen doughnuts and netted

o        Bejean Page reported that Northern Lights Coupon Book sales are at 59, giving us a profit of $885.  If we sell 15 more we can get to the $17.50 per book level.  However, the general feeling was that the market for these is saturated and that we should probably close up this fundraiser

·         New Business

o      Matt Evans outlined what each family needs to do this year.

1. Fundraise or contribute to the level that their player is playing.  Varsity players $750, Junior Varsilty $250, and C-team $100.

2.  Sell 30 raffle tickets

3.  Work 2 concessions shifts during the season.

o         The following people volunteered to help in these respective areas:

  • Ann Marie Valdez - C/JV Concession co-chair
  • I-reporter for C-team.
  • Leslie Pessetto - Banner Sales Assistant
  • Mike McGinnis - Half-time Coordinator
  • Michael and Stephanie Engle agreed to donate an old laptop computer to the club so that we can run the stats program on it as a dedicated stats computer.

o      The following jobs still need volunteers:

  • Stats Keepers for varsity games
  • Senior Night Coordinator
  • Varsity game announcer
  • I reporter for JV games

o      Coach Blewett discussed the schedule for 2011-2012, with Varsity going to Sitka, JV doing an overnight trip to Kenai, and Varsity going to either Phoenix or San Diego.
