Welcome by President Matt Evans.
· Minutes from
the previous meeting were read.

eports from Committee Chairs were given.

Communications - Matt Evans outlined how to follow Wolverine Hoops on Twitter.

Travel - Matt Evans reported that airline tickets are purchased for the Phoenix trip, and that for in
town games, JV and C-team will have busses, but not for Varsity.

Concessions - The schedule for shifts for the entire season was handed out.

Banquet - John Lorec reported that he will look for a few dates in January and February for team
dinners.

Finance - Andrea Lujan sent the financial status of the club and showed that we raised $10,000 over the
fall and need to raise $12,000 more to ensure we are financially stable for next year.

Fundraising - Suzanne Cole reported that she is ready to go to print on the un-printed banners, and
that the prices have gone up this year. She also asked for a volunteer to cold-call some of the
companies that we have banners for, but no agreement this year. Leslie Pessetto graciiously
volunteered. Stephanie Engle outlined the senior night raffle

Business
o John Lorec
noted that the Krispy Kreme fundraiser was a success and fairly low work for the money raised. We sold
350 dozen doughnuts and netted
o Bejean
Page reported that Northern Lights Coupon Book sales are at 59, giving us a profit of $885. If we sell
15 more we can get to the $17.50 per book level. However, the general feeling was that the market for
these is saturated and that we should probably close up this fundraiser

New Business
o Matt Evans outlined what each family needs to do this year.
1. Fundraise or contribute to the level that their player is playing. Varsity players $750,
Junior Varsilty $250, and C-team $100.
2. Sell 30 raffle tickets
3. Work 2 concessions shifts during the season.
o The
following people volunteered to help in these respective areas:

Mike McGinnis - Half-time Coordinator

Michael and Stephanie Engle agreed to donate an old laptop computer to the club so that we can run the
stats program on it as a dedicated stats computer.
o The following jobs still need volunteers:
o Coach Blewett discussed the schedule for 2011-2012, with Varsity going to Sitka, JV doing an
overnight trip to Kenai, and Varsity going to either Phoenix or San
Diego.
