  Coach's Corner

     Well it seems like I blinked and January is almost over. Through talking with the other coaches it seems like the program is heading in the right direction.  The C team is starting to come along and play within coach Perez's desired concept.  The boys are hustling out there and learning from their mistakes.  The JV team has had a couple injuries as of late and through it all they have maintained their high level of intensity.  The Varsity has shown the ability to play with any team in the league and are continuing to learn and grow with each game. 

     There should be a schedule of games, practice times and bus times on the website as well as given to each player.  Make sure to double check those so that you show up to the event on time and ready to go.  Parents please make sure that you son's are getting enough rest and keeping up with their grades.  By the end of this week they need to turn in their first grade report to me.  I appreciate all the parents who have volunteered for different events throughout the year and to our board members who have been working on things behind the scenes, making sure that we have a 1st class program.  All of the coaches are looking forward to a great rest of the season. 

     Last but not least, our pictures have been scheduled for the 8th of February.  The JV and C team has a game that night, but after school at 2:30 they will take their pictures and then get on the bus at 4:30.  So make sure they bring a big lunch that day.  When the picture packets are delivered they will be sent home with the players so you can order pictures.  Also, please email me if you have any ideas or questions about things at anytime throughout the year.  Thanks for you support.
